Few weeks ago I though that maybe I should DJ for fun, so I started looking at what they do and try to learn and ask question whenever I can. Then I started practicing on headphones and also installed some software on my MacBook to practice at home.
Soon I realized I'm getting better, so I needed to get better gear to practice on. I looked around and read some reviews and decided to get a Hercules RMX console, which is highly recommended for beginner DJs.
Here's my current setup.
The console is a 3-in-1 device. It's a midi controller, a mixer, and a 4-channel audio interface (sound card) to allow for dual outputs for live music and headphones. I've been practicing for few hours every day, and I like it so far. I'm pretty sure I can get my skill up to be able to play in a club soon.
